The individual pieces are carefully portrayed and dimensioned on this site. In most cases the furniture is made of eastern white pine that is 7/8” to I” thick, much thicker than that readily available at local lumber yards, but in keeping with the 19th century pieces upon which the furniture is based. The building methods are also similar to those of the 19th century with mortise and tenon construction, pegged at the corners, with dovetailed drawers and cupboard backs of individual boards rather than plywood.
